To celebrate almost 12 months without substantial content, the fairly crap widgetbucks ads have been removed and destroyed. It’s fairly likely that they will never return.
That’s pretty cool! Almost as cool as the Nintendo’s lack of a decent online gaming facility for the Wii.
Keep smiling people, and don’t even pretend you have broken the super smash brothers addiction. Everyone knows you still play it.

See this delightful plastic condom/cover for the Wiimote? It’s costing Nintendo over $20 million USD to send out free to all who request. But don’t worry about the company, Reggie is more than happy for Nintendo international to take the hit; and is not worried in the slightest about the news.

The unofficial Nintendo Blog is back in the game, but has undergone a few changes. A improved cache system has been implemented to make page loads lightening fast, and excess code has been removed to decrease load time further.
The advertisements have been removed because the ads being served were not contextual, and were slow to load. We now wear our Askimet badge with pride in our sidebar, as we approach a massive 13000 spam comments. Askimet is a tool that helps prevent spam from flooding NC.
The theme is back to basic, and will remain compatible with all popular browsers. The tag system has been removed, a new bookmarking plugin configured and all the silverware is polished.
So raise your soda glasses in triumph and drink deeply!

Nintendo of Australia just released, or we just noticed, a small promotional page in the vein of ‘The Wii Experiece’ named PlayWii. On the aptly named page, are images of first time Wii players, with positive Wii quotes interspersed between the images.
