About

In the beginning…

Nintendo Blog was proposed by Kit Allen, a gregarious webmaster with a shameless and recurring obsession with video games. He was wandering around the desolate, depressing desert that is the world web, looking for a project to sink his teeth into, as well as chocolate pudding.

When nintendocommunity.com was acquired, he knew he had found something that would ease his desire for a soul-profit project.

Around this time, Nintendo fanboys [and girls!] around the world were ruffling their feathers, enthused by the success of the Nintendo DS, waiting for a new console. The Revolution was announced, and the intense, intricate magical spell that is Nintendomania took hold of Kit.

Kit never did find chocolate pudding.

Now

Nintendo Blog is now proudly a quality news source for all things Nintendo. As the Wii release date nears, it becomes even more apparent that Wii lovin’ webmasters are not in short supply.

With this in mind, Nintendo Community aims to be a bridge between the many sites, as well as maintaining home-grown content and up to the minute updates using the vast array of media resources it has access to.

Nintendo Community likes being nice. Not ‘village bicycle’ nice, just refraining from personal attacks on oppositions and those who disagree with authors opinions. Good gaming blogs promote discussion.
