BAM! And the Ads are gone.
April 19th, 2008 by Kit Allen
To celebrate almost 12 months without substantial content, the fairly crap widgetbucks ads have been removed and destroyed. It’s fairly likely that they will never return.
That’s pretty cool! Almost as cool as the Nintendo’s lack of a decent online gaming facility for the Wii.
Keep smiling people, and don’t even pretend you have broken the super smash brothers addiction. Everyone knows you still play it.

OMG that photo is hilarious/disturbing! Thought you’d be into this working Nintendo controller coffee table some kid built. Link: http://break.com/index/working-nintendo-coffee-table.html

Just thought I’d mention I’ve created an open publishing Wii / Nintendo website with Drupal called http://www.wii-view.co.uk
I plan to use an ad revenue sharing program. I currently use Ad Sense and will soon be using Google’s new Affiliate network and also Trade Doubler.
Let me know if you want to be a part of the site or maybe just want to exchange links
Thanks
Bob

Hey, I just stumbled across your blog. I like your articles so far, when I finish this, I’m going to jump back and read some more.
Can I ask you reasons for dumping your ads?
If you need a hand monetizing your webpage in a non intrusive manner let me know!
I’m just put up my page for Wii Consoles, Wii Games, and Wii Accessories, and I am seeing some great traffic already!
Take care, and keep writing!

Hello there,
I’m a professional blogger in the investment space - mostly on hedge funds. I am a search engine optimization expert and get over 5,000 hits/day to my current blog.
I own NintendoConsole.com and NintendoConsoles.com and was hoping to build a blog on these topics. I was wondering if you would ever consider blogging on a pay per article or revenue sharing basis - or what you thought of the prospects of blogging on nintendo and “nintendo consoles” in general. Any input, ideas or comments?
Thanks in advance.

Did you folks know that www.shopgoodwill.com is a great place to find old games for the original Nintendo for those collecting hard to find games and accessories? It is an auction site similar to eBay, only usually cheaper.
