Nintendo Mass-Emails Safety Warnings
Thursday, December 7th, 2006Remember laughing when you found a Silica Gel sachet inside a pair of new shoes? The crazy thing had a ‘Do not eat’ warning on it. Drunk a coffee from a fast food store recently? Marveled at the ‘WARNING: Contents may be hot!’ warning?

One Million YouTube Wii Advert Views
Tuesday, November 21st, 2006Nintendo has let the excitement over the Wii heat up to an extroadinary degree using viral marketing as the fuel.
When Nintendo of America announced an advertising blitz, to the tune of 200 million dollars, many thought the Wii viral marketing pot had boiled, and that traditional marketing would dominate.
Nintendo again suprised the masses by releasing and featuring the first of the Wii adverts on YouTube. The video, which you can find here, has one week later, topped one million views.
One million views. Even the largest company would be happy with an additional 1,000,000 advert views, without spending a cent on bandwidth.
