Wireless Nunchuk So Not Happening

Sunday, January 7th, 2007

What is like your verdict?

A *hic* reporter at Verdicts.co.uk claims that ‘An unconfirmed source has revealed that Nintendo are currently working on a wireless version of their Nunchuck attachment for the Wii remote.

Nintendo may have a few issues with the Wii, but for the most part, they analyzed the Wii and removed safety hazards. A second wireless controller? The mere thought of it screams, “LAWSUIT! LAWSUIT!” Without a doubt, the Nunchuk would be much easier to throw than the Wiimote.

The only feasible way Nintendo could release a wireless Nunchuk would be to tether the Nunchuk to the players hands. Impracticality is a console-killer.

Question: Keeping the Wii Blue Light On?

Monday, December 18th, 2006

Innit that a pwetty!

crazyk1d wrote to us..

Is there a way to keep the blue light on?

While there is no official way to keep the blue-light on, there is a simple trick that you can use to keep your Wii shinin’ bright. You need to be connected to the internet for this trick to work.

If you do not have a confirmed email account to correspond with your Wii..

  1. Open the Wii Message Board
  2. Add a new contact with your personal email address
  3. Fire off a message to the new contact
  4. Reply to the email you receive from your Wii

The trick now is to NOT open the email on your Wii Message Board. Now, provided you don’t open the mail, the Blue Wii LED will stay lit!

Adult-Shop Wiimote Strap Fix

Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Ah nuts.

When all else goes wrong, use handcuffs. Karunga, Site Admin from InfinitPower.com found the perfect solution to broken Wiimote straps, and it came from an adult shop. To be honest, I hadn’t pictures handcuffs to be comfortable wrist wear, but as long as it keeps the Wiimote from flying solo, it must be worth the pain.
