Chicago – September 25, 2006 – Midway Games Inc., a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced that The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy™ video game has shipped for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Nintendo GameCube™. Gamers can play as any of 15 characters from one of Cartoon Network’s most popular television shows in the fighting/adventure game, which is also scheduled to be available for Nintendo Wii™ and Game Boy® Advance in November of this year.

“The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy features a unique brand of humor and animation that translates perfectly to this intense, frenetic video game,” said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. “We have worked closely with Cartoon Network and show creator Maxwell Atoms to ensure the game retains the unique energy of the show, and we’re excited to bring Grim, Billy, Mandy and their friends to video game consoles.”

Oh dear, we completely forgot about the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy release on the Gamecube! Preview the wii game by playing it on the trusty cube. Will find some review link in the upcoming days.

LOS ANGELES – September 26, 2006 – Twice the size of the first game with double the number of characters, NARUTO mania is expected to increase exponentially as TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA) today announced the release of NARUTO: Clash of Ninja 2 for Nintendo GameCube™ – Believe it! The sequel to the smash hit NARUTO: Clash of Ninja follows the storyline of VIZ Media’s hit anime series SHONEN JUMP NARUTO and will feature more playable characters, new locations and added gameplay features including multiplayer modes for up to four players. Also scheduled for release on October 10th is NARUTO: Ninja Council 2 for Game Boy® Advance from TOMY Corporation and D3PA.

NARUTO takes place in a world where ninja hold the ultimate power. Super Paper Mario - Wii not GameCube

IGN’s Chief Editor, Matt announced today that Super Paper Mario is not coming to the GameCube. Instead, it is coming to the Wii. Nothing too surprising there. With a bit of luck, the game will be priced to meet its next-gen rating, and we will have another mario game to waste our Sunday Eve’s.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

One of Ubisoft’s many games for the Wii is based on the popular Nickelodeon program, Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is also appearing on the GameBoy Advance, gameCube and the Nintendo DS.

THQ Inc. (Nasdaq: THQI) today announced its 2006 video game lineup based on Nickelodeon’s top brands for kids. The announcement follows the success of THQ’s Nickelodeon-branded games, which have shipped more than 40 million units worldwide to date. Games based on Nickelodeon’s highly rated television series “SpongeBob SquarePants(TM),” “Avatar: The Last Airbender(TM),” “Danny Phantom(TM)” and “Unfabulous,” as well as a new installment of Nicktoons, are anticipated to ship across multiple game systems in 2006.
