Europe: Swap Stars for Wii Points
December 10th, 2006 by Kit AllenNintendo-Europe.com members have something to smile about.
“By linking your Wii Shop Channel account to your online Nintendo membership, you will be able to enjoy additional benefits in the near future,” the website explains.
“Not only will you then be able to purchase Wii points in the Stars Catalogue, you will also get Stars for your Virtual Console purchases upon completing a small survey.”
Being a member of Nintendo-Europe.com and completing small tasks, or buying certain products earns you stars. In the past, stars were redeemable for novelty items, such as ‘desktop wallpaper‘.
Perhaps the idea will catch on, and Nintendo of’s world-wide can offer Wii Point rewards?
