Hawthorne Heights - Pop Slash Post HardCore band to support Nintendo Tour
September 30th, 2006 by Kit AllenHawthorne Heights is ready to play more than just music on the Nintendo Fusion Tour in the United States.
The modern rock group from Dayton, Ohio, is headlining this year’s edition of the Nintendo outing, which kicks off in Columbus, Ohio. Frontman JT Woodruff says he and his bandmates expect to be laden with Nintendo products to enjoy on their tour bus and backstage.
“I heard they hook you up quite well,” Woodruff says. “We’re all pretty big gamers, so we’re all looking forward to that. We really, really want one of those new Nintendo Wii (gaming consoles) that aren’t out yet. It would be nice if they could hook that up.”
Hawthorne Heights, which is currently in court with its label, Victory Records, will also be working on material for its next album during the tour.
Relient K, Emery, Plain White T’s and the Sleeping are also part of the Nintendo Fusion road show.

The medicine is blending in mixing the blood with oxygen
I need this right now to figure myself out
Cutting through the ribbons of self doubt
I never thought you’d see me this way
You are the worst and I am to blame
I see why Nintendo chose such an uplifting band with a positive message to promote Nintendo.
