My heart screams in agony. I have three Wiimotes, so the Nyko recharge device won’t be able to double as a fancy storage location for the little bastards. Regardless, the mounting battery costs of owning and regularly using a Wii will be vastly diminished with the purchase of this delightful gadget.
The recharge station is suggested to cost $29.99 USD. Which coincedentally $10 USD cheaper than the suggested price for JoyTech’s Wiimote charger. [below]
Strategy First Inc. and Glyphic Entertainment today announced Warlords Nintendo DS.
According the the official press statement, Warlords DS is an eight player turn-based game of conquest and empire. Different worlds provide a stage for the player to excel in combat. In the quest for final victory, gamers can assemble vast armies, conquer and loot mighty cities, undertake perilous quests, make and break alliances, and wield magical artifacts of great power.
Sounds fairly exciting eh? The game features random map generation, hidden maps on four kinds of terrain. The game supports up to eight players with Nintendo WiFi support.
The same developers are also releasing Disciples DS. Disciples is a strategy/RPG. It supports four-way multiplayer, and heavily features the use of magic.
Isn’t this just special! A few pieces of media that we should have posted 24 hours ago. Unfortunately, more exciting news came up and these enthralling screenshots of Theme Park DS were delayed. We apologize to all fans of chunky graphics and zany characters that have no appeal.
In closing, only leprechauns should wear green suits.
See after the fold for more delightful screengrabs.
Renchi wants to sell you Wii accessories. We are in no way affiliated with them, but thought you might like to check out some of their products. In particular, the component cables. Because if you don’t have them yet, you are incredibly lazy and deserve to be covered with cream and attacked by an angry mod of clowns. They even have Wii Dust Covers!
Are ya bored..? Just.. how.. bored..? Well if you are rEaLlY bored, then I strongly encourage you to check out some new video on the Japanese Official Wii Website. It is of the News Channel final build. Fo’ serious. Yes its in Japanese, but it gives a clear-ish indication of what the Western versions are going to be like.
Reggie and Iwota are out on the town, boozing and cruising tonight. Why? Because Nintendo has upgraded their financial forecast for the fiscal year 2007 by 20%. That’s a whopping 120 billion yen. Or over 1 Billion US dollars.
Since the appalling movie, most publicists have been encouraging their product designers to steer clear of designing a product that simply had to be called ‘Master of Disguise‘. Nintendo didn’t give a rats what the publicists thought, and have released the latest DS Wario title with the forbidden name. Mehk.
This is more US boxart, the latest in a swarm of artwork released recently.
‘Square Enix, formerly Sony guarantor for qualitative worth development preserve recently this consideration. Additionally we could experience from industrialnear circles that the Japanese developer will sell two play rows of his extensive LINE Ups in the next months. Which series it concerns thereby and who the buyers are, remains up to now unclearly.‘
The above was an English translation of Wunderlampe.de. What it roughly translates as is, Square Enix is expected to sell two major franchises in the next two months. Which ones? Heaven knows. Could it be The Universe of Mana? Chrono? Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest or god forbid Final Fantasy?
If the random rumor proves to be accurate, then whatever the outcome, a small portion of the gaming world is going to feel betrayed. [Personally, I hope it is Kingdom Hearts!]
Could Hotel Dusk Room 215 be the runaway DS success of 2007? It’s certainly got the cool factor down, as you can see in this newly released US boxart. Will it apply the same level of cool to all of its characteristics?
Feeling a hole in your pocket from all the extra Wii accessories? Well feel bad for Kuwaiti’s, prices for a Nintendo Wii from a Virgin Megastore are more than you’d expect to pay for a USD. And a window clean from the college guy at the lights on the way home from the store.
Virgin is charging a massive 299KD for a Nintendo Wii. That’s a little over one thousand US dollars. An additional Wiimote and Nunchuk? Will set you back a cool $155 USD each. Yep, you could buy a Nintendo Wii in most countries for the price you pay in Kuwait for a single controller set.
