Question: Keeping the Wii Blue Light On?

While there is no official way to keep the blue-light on, there is a simple trick that you can use to keep your Wii shinin’ bright. You need to be connected to the internet for this trick to work.

If you do not have a confirmed email account to correspond with your Wii..

  1. Open the Wii Message Board
  2. Add a new contact with your personal email address
  3. Fire off a message to the new contact
  4. Reply to the email you receive from your Wii

The trick now is to NOT open the email on your Wii Message Board. Now, provided you don’t open the mail, the Blue Wii LED will stay lit!

    I tried this, it works, the light goes on when i receive the message, but when i turn my wii on the light goes off and even if i dont open the message the light doesnt come back on when i turn the wii off!!!

    my dad has jus tried this and its nt lettin him select his contact in the wii so he cnt send a msg, has any1 els ad this prob?

    The Wii led mod is done i have pictures up. We modded the wii to leave the led allways on and change the color to red. please check us out in our forums at www.blackboxmods.com/forums.
