April 25th, 2007 by Kit AllenThe unofficial Nintendo Blog is back in the game, but has undergone a few changes. A improved cache system has been implemented to make page loads lightening fast, and excess code has been removed to decrease load time further.
The advertisements have been removed because the ads being served were not contextual, and were slow to load. We now wear our Askimet badge with pride in our sidebar, as we approach a massive 13000 spam comments. Askimet is a tool that helps prevent spam from flooding NC.
The theme is back to basic, and will remain compatible with all popular browsers. The tag system has been removed, a new bookmarking plugin configured and all the silverware is polished.
So raise your soda glasses in triumph and drink deeply!
