Wii Driving Attachment… Whoa.

September 10th, 2006 by Kit Allen

Ubisoft will be shipping a neat attachment with the launch title, GT Pro. Yes neat. Not ‘tacky’. Its just a clip on, plastic wheel to fit your Wiimote into. Whoopdidoo! You don’t pay extra for it, and still might get a little enjoyment out of using it.

Wii Steering Wheel

Does this mark the beginning of an over-saturation of Wii attachments, thus cheapening the controller as a whole? The nunchuks have an accelerometer and the zapper has trigger and added joystick, but the steering wheel looks to add nothing to functionality.

Its free. You don’t have to use it. It will not improve your gameplay if you use it, nor decrease functionality if you dont use it. It really doesnt matter!

Hopefully the GT Pro screenshots are low resolution, or of an early build of the game.
